Often the burning question for a new lampworker is HOW DO I GET STARTED????  The answer is, IT DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU WANT TO DO!  There are many forms and many levels of lampwork, all requiring different equipment and glass.  We suggest you research your interest carefully since much of the equipment, supplies and tools are expensive, and a poor choice can be a costly mistake.  Visit the RESOURCE page for a list of reading materials, forums, and suppliers.  Please understand that if you visit a forum and ask how to get started lampworking that the response will invariably be to ask you what you want to do.  Until you know that, advice is basically impossible or worthless!
