POWDER POWER: A WORKSHOP WITH TERESA BRITTAIN
Saturday, April 10 and Sunday April 11

Glass powders and enamels can add a new dimension to your lampwork beads.  In this weekend class, we will use Bullseye powders and Thompson enamels for Moretti/Effetre to create an array of interesting color effects.  We'll roll and sift, stipple with enameled stringer, create encased powder backgrounds, overheat enamels for organic designs and much, much more.

Instructor will bring all powders and enamels, specialty tools and a selection of Bullseye and Moretti/Effetre rods.

A list of supplies for students to bring will be distributed at the Firecrackers' March meeting, and will also be emailed to each participant

Currently the class is full, but we will place you on a waiting list.  Just use the Contact Us link on the menu.

TERESA BRITTAIN

Teresa Brittain discovered glass beadmaking in 1995 and was immediately fascinated by the movement of hot glass and the shapes that evolve.  Her beads and jewelry are featured in galleries throughout the Southeast and in several bead books.  She is a member of the Southern Highland Craft Guild, Foothills Craft Guild, and Piedmont Craftsmen.
