Patty Miller

Patty is a founding member of Smoky Mountain Firecrackers.   She creates lampwork beads and fused glass pieces for jewelry designs. She uses these elements in her own jewelry creations, and sells them to other designers. Patty says the best things about working with glass are the colors and the constant challenge of the glass in the flame and then the kiln - getting it to do what is in your mind, and loving what it does on its own. These challenges are what keeps her from ever getting bored with this wonderful medium. She also likes to play a bit in precious metal clay and silversmithing. In 2004, she attended Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts in Gatlinburg, TN where she was introduced to high temperature glass kiln fusing with glass master Brad Walker. She uses her beads and fused glass pieces as focals in her own jewelry, often with wire-wrapping techniques and fibers.

Patty's beautiful beads and jewelry designs can be found on her website and in her Etsy store.
